Linked Course
The replica option is available only for the Enterprise package.
The replica feature gives you the ability to create a replica (clone) of the primary course. The replica is linked to the primary course.
It appears under the primary course in the course view:
If you update the content of the primary course, you can decide which of its replicas will get the content updates.
When to use primary and replica?
If you have a product:
- with very standardized content
- that you sell to multiple clients
- and maintain the product for a longer
As you can edit the content of all replica courses with a single action, this functionality will simplify your life.
Think about having to amend 50 courses because of a typo.

If you want to create an independent duplicate of a course you can create it through the use template option.
Any changes to the primary course will automatically apply to the clones; they can not be edited except for the settings of the chapter (change the start date, tags, description, and picture).
Deleting a Primary
The clones must first be removed because they cannot stand alone in the course area, making it necessary to do so before deleting the original course.
