How to set up Paypal Payments

Create a new payment method by clicking the Create button, then choose Paypal from the Provider drop-down menu.

Title: Choose a title for your method. This will be shown to your customers as the name of the payment method. For example, Pay your order by Card.

Description. Add a short description of your payment method. This will be shown to your customers as the description of the payment method. For example, Payments are processed by  Paypal. We never store your card information.

Active. You can choose whether you want your payment gateway to be active or not. We advise you to keep your method inactive (unchecked) until you enter your API credentials. 

In order to have access to the Client ID and Secret Key follow these steps:
  1. Open the following website https://developer.paypal.com and click on "Log into Dashboard".
  2.  Login with your PayPal credentials and then click on "My Apps& Credentials" and then switch to "Live".
  3. Then click on Create an app.

  4. You should now see the Client ID and an option (Show) below to see the Secret Key.

Once your new payment method has been saved you will have to fill in the additional API Information and keys to start accepting payments.
