Your email settings use an SMTP system. This means that when customers create a profile, the confirmation email that is sent to them can be automated. For more information about the SMTP system, click here

How do email settings work?

By default, all emails are sent via Mindseed's email servers. However, you are advised to set up your own SMTP server settings so that any transactional emails are sent via your email server.

Why do I need email settings and for what are they used?

The Mindseed email settings are used to send all automatic transactional emails from your Mindseed website; by adding the SMTP settings, your email will be recognized as the sender.

  1. Welcome User mail
  2. Confirm order mail
  3. Cancelled order mail
  4. Enrolment mail
  5. Unenrolment mail
  6. Access request mail
  7. Access approved mail
  8. Access declined mail

What is TLS?

For more information about the TLS (transport layer security), click here.

Based on the above, here are the two options in simple words:

If the TLS Auto option is chosen, the security process provided by the TLS will be automated.

If the TLS Auto option is not chosen, the security process provided by the TLS will not be automated.

What is SSL?

It is another security process named Secure Socket Layer. For more information about SSL, click here

Note: that we recommend you use a secure connection because emails can be filtered
into spam because of a firewall.

Is your email a Gmail or G-Suite ?
